A Colorado native and proud Lafayette resident since 1990, Cherri Jacobs (CJ) Pruitt is the founder of CJ Connections, an education and consulting practice. Drawing on more than forty years in public health and community engagement—including twenty years as a federal Maternal and Child Health Consultant—Cherri’s work centers on one simple truth: humans are wired for connection. Through CJ Connections, she helps people, organizations, and communities recognize everyday patterns that pull us apart - and practice healthier, more connected ways of relating at home, work, and in community life. Cherri engages locally and nationally as Colorado Chapter Leader with the Premise Institute, a member of Lafayette’s Human Rights Board, and Ambassador for the Foundation for Social Connection. She also hosts The Power of Partnership Podcast, highlighting global changemakers advancing care and connection in all aspects of life.
